Emergency Medicine Specialists, S.C. is an independent group of medical providers and, because its physician members are board certified emergency medicine physicians, is considered a specialists group by insurance companies. This means that in most cases insurance companies will insist on using the specialist co-pay. In some instances a patient will receive a bill directly from E.M.S. regarding fees for services.
